The Octopus Parlour is a small room inside the head of artist Lauren King filled with a menagerie of 8-legged friends that help to bring her artistic ideas to life. Vintage pieces, brightly colored objects and sparkly bits are all blended together with high quality metals to create fabulous works of wearable art. All silver used is sterling, all solder is lead-free and all scrap silver produced is melted down and cast into new creations.

Paintings from the Octopus Parlour are meticulous works of acrylic over masonite. Prints from these paintings are created in collaboration with Carr Imaging. Carr Imaging uses the highest quality archival pigment inks on acid free paper to create a work of art that will last a lifetime when properly cared for. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by both the artist and Patrick Carr.
